The game started by exactly 5:00 pm Nigerian time. The venue was filled to capacity with lots of expetation from the team, the game did not fail to live up to the billing with Ike Uche grabbing the first for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 9th minute. The Nigerian team created alot of chance in the first half but failed to convert. The second started the asme way it ended, the game was put beyond the rwandas reach when Nigerian CSKA Moscow attacker Ahmed Musa made it 2-0 for the super eagles inthe 56th minute.
